Well another Independence day has passed, and this year we chose to celebrate the American way. We attended the local parade, Jeremy and I were the only ones who truly participated. Jakob withdrew himself to the comforts of the stroller, and Avery, well he was better than I expected. Next we had a splendid barbeque at the parents house, and then ventured out to a little carnival. Later we watched the fireworks from Grandma's. It was a very long and wonderful summer day.
That WAS a long day but sounded awesome. I wish we could have done a carnival but I'd pass on the parade if it means sitting outside in 110 degree weather. No thanks!!
